ABOUT:
Sachpal practiced as a litigation and corporate lawyer and has handled various high profile and complex litigation involving injunctions and disputes in Korea and Malaysia, highly contentious land, banking disputes, multi-million ringgit auctions, defamation suits, arbitration, complex general litigation, complex contractual litigation, winding up and bankruptcy, company and tortious claims.
EXPERIENCE:
Sachpal’s forte is corporate advisory and litigation and he is very apt at handling trials and appeals at the high court, court of appeal and federal court. Sachpal Singh has extensive experience litigating in insurance, corporate, banking and general litigation including large debt recovery and debt restructuring. Besides litigation, he is equally adept in advising and arbitrating construction disputes including arbitrating disputes between employer and main contractor and between main contractor and sub-contractors. His previous experience includes complex construction litigation, dispute resolution and cross border advisory.
Sachpal is also actively involved in corporate advisory work including the preparation of scheme of arrangement, joint venture and shareholders agreements, telecommunications , construction and concession agreements, events and training, medical and various compliance related advisory. He is currently actively involved in advising investors and joint venture partners in investment and joint venture opportunities as well as corporate clients on a retainer basis.
