ABOUT:
Kamal is a passionate and highly able litigation lawyer. Kamal ia an impact-oriented advocate and solicitor of High Court of Malaya, with years of experience in providing legal services, handling numerous civil and corporate civil litigation cases, either for trials or appeal at superior and subordinate courts throughout the country including but not limited to insurance dispute resolution, land matters, defamation, general litigation, repudiation and declaratory orders, injunction etc. He has a proven track record of achieving favorable outcomes for clients and is equally adept at preparing for trials documents and effectively presenting in court as well as assisting in corporate and commercial advisory and contract drafting.
EXPERIENCE:
Accompanied with high fighting spirit, he has over the years handled many complex cases involving insurance companies, local councils, port authorities, SME’s as well as large corporate and multinational entities. He also had a stint as in-house counsel for Sapura Kencana Petroleum. He graduated from the International Islamic University with LLB (Hons) Degree in 2009 whereafter he immediately chambered with Messrs Zulrafique & Partners, and was subsequently admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 2010 . He first joined Messrs Azmi & Associates primarily handling corporate matters related to oil & gas industry. He subsequently joined Messrs Dass Jainab & Associates and became a Partner in Messrs Arnold Andrew & Co where he managed the Motor and Non- Motor Insurance portfolios by representing various Insurance companies such as Liberty Insurance Berhad, Etiqa Insurance Berhad, Tune Insurance Berhad, Multipurpose Insurance, and Allianz Insurance Berhad as well as other leading organizations like PLUS Berhad, TNB Berhad, and Telekom Malaysia
