SHORT BIO:
Tan Sri Mohd Radzi Sheikh Ahmad is a senior partner of the firm Radzi Sheikh Ahmad & Sachpal. Tan Sri Radzi was called to the Malaysian BAR in 1972 and has a long & illustrious career as an Advocate & Solicitor, in the judicial service and the corporate world as well as in Politics.
EXPERIENCE:
Tan Sri served in the judicial services as a Deputy Public Prosecutor in the state of Selangor in 1968 and subsequently served as a Magistrate in 1970 and later as a Judge of the Sessions Court in Klang, Selangor. He then led the judicial services to commence practice as an Advocate & Solicitor. Tan Sri Mohd Radzi actively served the country as a politician since 1982. Senator Tan Sri Mohd Radzi was a Member of Parliament for the seat of Kangar in Perlis from 1982 to 2013 and held various ministerial posts :
Year 2021- Senator Kuala Lumpur
Year 2006-2008 – Minister of Home Affairs.
Year 2004-2005- Minister of Law.
Year 1986 – Deputy Minister for Primary Industries Ministry.
Year 1984 – Deputy Minister for the Home Affairs Ministry.
Year 1983 – Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department.
Tan Sri was also involved in the Corporate world in the 90’s namely with SP Setia and other corporate entities besides being active in charitable organizations and foundations. Tan Sri has decades of experience in corporate and advisory and brings a wealth of experience to Radzi Sheikh Ahmad & Sachpal.
